I need an electronic drum kit that is good quality and doesn’t cost too much? I’ve heard that Yamaha, Roland, and Fender are all good makes? Do you know of any others?

You can find all the major brands of electronic drum kits at Amazon.com . There is a good selection, and the prices are reasonable, many of them under $500.

I have been playing around on the drums 4 about a year and I wanted a nice kit for my birthday or christmas that is small and affordable. I was thinking about the "Roland HD-1 V Drum Lite Electronic Drum Set" but I dont know if this is a good idea or not. Have any suggestions of a good kit or set that is cheap?
