Which do you prefer and why?

I would definitely go with the drum kit. I just like the sound of an electronic drum.

You can find all the major brands of electronic drum kits at Amazon.com . There is a good selection, and the prices are reasonable, many of them under $500.

I have an electronic drum kit, which is pretty quiet, but it bugs the neighbors — especially the kick and hi-hat pedals. Any recommendations for building a mat or something to keep the noise that is audible downstairs to a minimum? Thanks!

I was on YouTube and was watching this video of this guy playing his electronic drum kit without the drum sounds, and they were rather loud. I’m looking into buying an electronic drum kit because I live in an apartment and my neighbors have the biggest ears in the world and complain about everything. But after observing this video, it seems like they are still rather loud. Are they loud?

Which electronic drum kit has the best feel, for 00 or less? And/or which is best overall for 1000 or less? And also, would you recommend an electronic set for beginners to learn on? Because I live in a tiny apt. with thin walls and neighbors all around.
